                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE OFFICE OF
                   THE CITY ATTORNEY TO RETAIN ENGINEERING AND
                   OTHER CONSULTANT SERVICES TO ASSIST IN THE
                   DEFENSE OF THE FORMAL CLAIM AND POTENTIAL
                   LAWSUIT OF INSITE RELATIVE TO CONTRACT
                   S-2-91, DOWNTOWN STREETSCAPE AND PEDESTRIAN
                   ACCESS BEAUTIFICATION PROJECT, AND TO INCUR
                   NECESSARY AND REASONABLE EXPENSES THERETO.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Office of the City Attorney be
       and is hereby authorized to retain engineering and other
       consultant services to assist in the defense of the formal claim
       and potential lawsuit of InSite relative to Contract S-2-91,
       Downtown Streetscape and Pedestrian Access Beautification 
Project,
       and to incur necessary and reasonable expenses thereto.
